Best used performance coupe/sedan?

Currently in the market for a used performance coupe/sedan...  I'm thinking in the realm of
Merc AMG series, Audi RS series, BMW M series, etc.

I like speed but I do not like to sacrifice too much ride quality. I tend to lean towards the
RS series for this reason, but I am open to any suggestions.

the rs series cars are preaty nice and sporty. I owned a quattra a4 and really loved it. It was not a rs but it had lots of power and hugged the road like it was born to it. Not to mention its better then a truck in the snow most the time. The rs is more sportier and got more power so im sure you will like it. Bmw's are nice as well but they usually have head issues in the early 100,000 km if your unlucky.
