The v-8 puts out about 310hp but I have heared that they are working on a vertion that would macth the vette at about 450hp but the my not come to lite, but I wasnt my name down on the list of owners.

140

The G8 GXP was rated at 415 horsepower and 415 ft/lb torque. It has an LS3 Corvette 6.2 L (376cu.in) engine, and Brembo brakes to stop.. The same engine is in the ZR1 Corvette and now in the new Super Sport Camaro. Only 1829 G8 GXPs were manufactured by Holden, an Australian subsidiary of GM. Their cars use GM parts. Australians are into cars with muscle. The G8 GXP is basically a Holden Commodore with Pontiac badges. It was billed as the four door Corvette.
