The instrument panel no longer illuminates after stereo installation. Did I fry the BCM?

I've just installed an after market stereo in my 2007 Santa Fe Limited and while everything is in working order, I discovered that the instrument panel no longer illuminates. While the headlight switch is in the OFF position, I do have illumination at the clock and the climate screens however. Thanks a bunch for any advice.

The factory radio you removed,has a light wire running to it,it may be that the wire is hooked to another wire,or grounding out causing this.

Thanks for the quick tip. I'll re-check my connections to the factory harness again.

I'm installing a similar stereo in my 2007 santa fe, my factory stereo has dimmer + and dimmer - wire and my after market radio just has the one wire for the illumination. Would this hook to the dimmer + on the factory harness?
