why are my brake lights not working?

i have left rear turn signal but no brake light no signal or brake light on rt rear at
all.

you need a multi tester to see if the brake light switch is getting power or even works , or look for any obvious wiring problems under the vehicle , or start at the bulbs and check for power and grounds , could be the sockets , What year truck ?

Check for wrong bulb in the back. 1156 in for 1157 you'll get left turn right one will blink check that
