Why am I getting the runaround

Asked by Catherine Aug 01, 2022 at 04:18 PM about the Ford Edge

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

As seen on your website, many cars, like ours is in need of a new engine
due to the technical bulletin going back to June 2019.  Our dealership
explained that they are running into issues getting it replaced even though it
is covered under the extended warranty.  Engines are costly...so is buying a
car and an extended warranty!  If denied, what type of attorney do I acquire
to fight this for us and do we fight Ford and the warranty folks.  How about
the dealership where we purchased the car?  TECHNICAL SERVICE

If it was a recall, it would be one thing, but you listed a TSB , which is a write up for a possible repair if a customer comes in with those symptoms. So you are saying you have an extended warranty for the drivetrain and the Dealer can't source an engine? Did you contact Ford customer service yet? I would try being nice to Ford and the dealership before I would contact an attorney.
