Average lead acid battery life is around 3-5 years. You're doing good with the life of your battery. At it's age, you should be shopping around for a replacement. How long are you planning on keeping your car? You might not need another battery that lasts five or more years this time.

believe this to be non-maintainance type battery since it is in the passenger cabin so lead acid type will not work. but do appreciate your answer .retired will run it until i can no longer fix it
