Bought a new battery and alternator, however my 84 rabbit will not hold any volts

Working on a rabbit and we have replaced almost all major parts including a new battery
and alternator.  However the car will not hold volts and dies after about 5 to 10 minutes of
running.  Any ideas as to what the next step should be?

you need to check all your posative and negative leads to the battery, alternator, main harness and all grounds. Willing to bet you have a coroded or loose wire some where its even a posability that in a car this old you may have a fryed or brittle wire some where.
