Power steering after being stuck

Asked by Larrym76 Oct 05, 2017 at 01:32 AM about the Chevrolet C/K 2500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2015 Chevrolet 2500 4x4 with a 4"
lift and 33" tires, long story short I wasn't
there but my truck got stuck. Now it has no
power steering until it's rolling, even when it
comes in it doesn't feel normal. At high
speed everything feels good, no pull and no
overbearing vibration. I did just have the
tires rotated and balanced, I looked
underneath and can't see anything broken or
bent. No excessive mud caked up, worst
part is the truck has 27,000 miles and im
sure they won't even deal with me because
of the lift

Make sure the fluid level is good and that the serpentine belt is not slipping. It may have gotten wet and glazed up.
