Evap leak

Asked by Nizhoni Jan 13, 2017 at 01:44 PM about the Dodge RAM 1500

Question type: General

I have a 2015 Dodge Ram Hemi
1500. The engine light came on. I
took it to dealership and they
stated it was the evap canister ,
so they fixed it supposedly. Few
months later the light came on
again. I return to the dealership
they stated it was the gas cap.
3rd time light came returned to
dealership and once again they
said it was evap system. It was
covered under warranty the 1st
time they fixed it and now the
warranty has expired. What
would cause this light to
continuously come on?

I would call Dodge directly to see if they can help you with your issue, 800-992-1997

Idk if you figured this out or not but my gas filler hose was being chewed by rodents and this code came up.
