I have a Dodge ram 1500 5.9 , 2 weel drive 1998 my transaction will not shift from first gear , it reverse ok Watt you think is the problem.

It was rebuilt wrong take it back to the shop and have them warranty their work

Mostly likely a bad valve or govener gear not 100% sure
