Why is my 2000 Chevrolet venture overheating

first, check coolant level. if level is good, it could be a thermostat. start with these. hopefully it is one of them. if not it would be good to have a combustion leak test done to see if you have a bad head gasket.

start the car let it get up to temperature feel both top and bottom rad hoses if they are not both hot the thermostat is not opening
