chevy uplander trans issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My dad has a 2008 chevy uplander that is pushing oil out of the breather on the
trans. does that mean that the trans is shot or could it be the torque converter. it
seems to shift fine but is pushing oil out. anybody have had this issue before?

Dont think it is overheating. checked cooler looks find.thanks for the advice. any more?
