Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1996 chevy silverado and been replacing
fuel pums every two to three weeks cant figure out
the problem please help

Check the output voltage of the alternator. If it is really high that might be the problem. The voltage should be 13 to 14.5 volts. about.

Are the pumps all the same brand?
