Check this out: http://www.ask.com/explore/repair-fuel-pressure- reguator-88-chevy-350-tbi-4954 You may have a bad fuel pressure regulator or bad Throttle position sensor. It would also be a good idea to get some throttle body cleaner and go right through it. Make sure that your Idle Air Intake is clean and not blocked.

If you have fuel pressure when the injectors stop firing it may be the ICM or pick-up coil in the dist. The pick-up coil reads you cam position and feeds the signal to the ICM. The ICM converts it for ignition and sends a signal to the ECM, The ECM must see 400 rpm to fire the injectors. One or both could be cutting out causing the issue. If you change the ICM use the heat sink compound when mounting to the dist baseplate.
