Cool, anything is possible with a plasma torch, a welder and 5 gallons of body putty.

it all depends on how good you are with sheet metal it can be a very noisy job but sit back study the curves and how your going to make your cuts and how to mold it into what you're trying to achieve measure twice or even three times just to be sure even try drawing it out on paper just to see where you have to make your cuts and bends cut a little bit longer than you plan you can always take away but its harder to add on. try to mold as much as possible yes putty can be a good choice to shape your work but you still want to have a certain amount of ring to your metal so your work will look good and have good stability. good luck! i would really to see this project mature.
