my warning light in my 2006 equinox comes on evry now and then blinks for a few
seconds then disappears. is that an indication something major is going on in the motor or

You would need to get the computer scanned for a code before you would know what the light is on for. Usually you can go to auto zone or advance auto or another parts store and they will scan it for free. Or the dealer usually charges around $60. Once you get the. Code then it'll be easier to determine the cause of the problem
