03 Cavalier engine fan not cutting on, cutting off and acting like battery is dead

Asked by meetmyalterego Sep 11, 2015 at 11:31 PM about the Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Own a 2003 Cavalier with 160k miles. Recently my car overheated and upon
inspection, found out the engine fan was not cutting on whatsoever. Tonight I
made a turn and it cut off and would not turn over again. Unsure if this is
related to the engine fan problem or not.

The fan in my 98 Cavalier wouldn't work until I filled my AC with freon had something to do with the pressure of the AC starting the fan
