heater blower does not work at all change fuse underhood still nothing fan removed and checked okay

fan quit on cold day  changed fuse under hood and tested fan with 12 volts and runs okay,  is this a common problem ? with an easy solution

could be the blower motor resistor. take down the blower motor and look up in side the empty cavity. there is a green circuit board looking thing. take it out and see if there is any visible electrical damage.

he said he replaced the fuse, if it doesn't work on high there is a problem with your switch or wiring bc high is straight 12 volts from the fuse through the switch to the blower no resistors, check to see if you have ground

It's the big square fuze under the hood that says heater blower on the cover that's what's wrong with it I just filled my cavalier today with one and it works just fine now try it you will see I'm right

It's a big square 4 prong fuse they are $11.99 at the Parts store

The resistor is easy to get to, just take the blower motor out from under the glove compartment (3x 7/32 screws) and then there are 2 more 7/32 screws holding the resistor in, one of which is pinned against the firewall and is a bitch to get out unless you have a 1/4" extension and swivel.
