Yes it's very possible and has been done many times. Here's a link to a 1st gen http://www.nitrostreet.com/Z24.html That will cost a lot of time, and money. You're better off doing an engine swap. Maybe an LA1 (3.4L v6). That's what I have in my 2nd gen. Put a header alone on that engine and you'll have about 220hp, 255tq. Enough to have an SRT4 worried, but you prolly wont win. A lot of time and money will be needed to do it. You can do it but i dont think it is worth the effort

You'd be better off removing the body, and putting it on a RWD chassis, and utilizing the RWD drive-train.

it's much cheaper to buy a rear wheel drive car . there are many to choose from.

Yeah, or man up and buy a 4WD.
