Your question makes no sense. If you're asking what the difference is between an IROC-Z and a Z28 then the IROC-Zs was a higher end package and in some years they did not make a Z28. IROC-Zs were only made from 1985 till (i think) 1990. there were 2 or 3 years where Z28s were not made at all.

Drew is right. An IROC-z had specialized parts. Such as TPI vs TBI. 3.23 gears vs 2.32 gears. Wonderbar vs no wonderbar. High steering ratio vs normal ratio. The IROC-Z is more performance oriented vs the Sport Coupe or Rally Sport.

Actually some of the IROCs had 3.73 or 3.42 gears as well if i remember. 2.73 was stock for the lower end models though. And up until 87 they also had some carbureted engines in the non-IROC V8s. 3.23 was lowest rear gears for any of the V8s. Good job bringing up the gearing though I had forgotten about that.
