Does honda crv 2002 use double filament or single filament bulb?

Asked by Noobie_mechanic Jan 21, 2023 at 07:08 AM about the Honda CR-V

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Brake light is busted and looking at the manual I need 12v 21/5w bulb. I am guessing it is t20 wedge but I am not sure if its double or single filament. It was never stated on the manual.

Bring the bulb to the parts store and they'll hook you up , It should have some numbers on it , I never know which is the part # but they will

7443 bulb is what you need for the wedge bulb, P215 for the standard bulb

12V 21/5 W sounds like a dual element bulb for brake light and tail light if it has 3 wires dual element two wires single element

Get the part number from Rockauto.com and take the number to your local auto parts store. They'll have it. Hope that helps! Jim
