2018 Honda CRV dashboard goes black (not infotainment system)n

Asked by Guru9412FT Sep 16, 2020 at 02:27 PM about the Honda CR-V

Question type: General

I was driving this past week and my "dashboard" went blank (speedometer, gas
gauge, all in that area).  Hazards, blinkers, lights did not work.  What a HUGE
safety issue?   Help

You should check your fuse panels to see if they and all fuses are tight (look in your owner's manual to see where they are located). Check your dimmer switch to see if it is turned all the way up (again check your manual to see where the switch is located). Good luck.

Not the fuse panel or the dimmer. Dealership said it was a fluke which I am not buying. Wondering if it could be related to infotainment system problems, windshield problems currently being litigated.
