Not getting low is relative - Check your oil in the morning before the car starts only to diagnose this problem. You may already be doing this? Try two tanks of gas and then check again - my bet - the piston rings are giving way and the oil get flashed in the explosion and some does burn, check your tail pipe with a white paper towel as another test.
