Honda Accord is having electrical issues

Hello,
My daughter has a 2008 Honda Accord. Recently she has replaced the
alternator and purchased a new battery. The engine light continues to show
up and the battery is being drained. Car wont start once she turns off the
engine.
Found a nest of some kind in the engine. Now all the lights are going off in
the car. Car is in good condition, May i have some guidance on how to help
her.? She is on a fixed income lives in Burbank, Ca

Sounds like rodent damage. This will require a professional to go in a repair all the wiring damage, as this could get expensive very quickly I would recommend an independent shop as the dealer will be horrendously expensive to fix this.
