dash gas light is still on

I have a full tank of gas, the indicator shows a full tank, but the dash gas light is still on,, any thoughts?  94 isuzu rodeo 3.2 v6, 2wd

Had the same problem with a 99 rodeo. The float switch in the gas tank is bad
