My volvo s40 2.4i is spraying the windshield wiper fluid onto the headlights instead of onto the windshield. How can I get the wiper fluid to spray onto my windshield?

what area of the country are you from? if you are in a cold climate could be frozen. if you are in a warm climate could be a fuse, pump, broken line, broken nozzle. is there a puddle underneath your vehicle after you hold it for 10 seconds?
