how come the 02 grand cherokee 4.7 and the 03 oil sending units have different wiring? only problem I had with the swap.

On the 02 there is a safety feature that shuts down the engine which requires a 3 wire setup. ! wire on the 03... Weird that they woyuld eliminate that feature...

I have a 01 Jeep with a 4.7 engine, looking at getting a new engine from a 99 jeep same 4.7, will everything bolt up and connect correctly
