Many lost flywheels...

Asked by greeenjeeep May 27, 2010 at 09:02 PM about the Jeep Cherokee

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A few months back I had to replace a flywheel due to a major crack. This made any driving of the jeep difficult because of the rough transmission.  Now I believe that the flywheel is cracked again, making the same noises and sounds as it did when I replaced it the first time. Why would this be happening? Is it my driving? or the car itself? I am totally lost.

1 Answer

dont know about your driving ,but most flyweels are aluminum and if not tourked to spects they will crack.
