Did the Pontiac Grand Prix and Grand Am come with factory tint standard? Any year.

I am an Investigator with the Public Defenders Office in Shelby County, TN and am desperately trying to find out this information.

For proof that will hold up in court I would go directly to GM and ask that question.

Yes they come with factory tinted windows but it is very light. But to get a darker degree of tint, you need a doctors prescription to be able to have the dark tint on the windows. There are percentages of darkness allowable by law you are able to have on the immediate right & left windows along with the windshield. Otherwise in my state, you need a eye doctors prescription to have the darker tint all around. Those cars get pulled over all the time but do not receive a ticket due to the prescription.
