Check oil color. Does it look like a milkshake? Does coolant look like oil? Is it smoking white smoke? If answer yes to any of these probably blown head gasket.
Get your transmission fluid changed and checked for leaks. Old dirty transmission fluid leaking is a common cause of overheating often over looked. It can save you a few thousand in gasket repairs or replaced engines.
