Is Scion XB's low ground clearance too low for city like New York?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I want to buy a new XB but I have concern the 5.1" ground clearance can't handle potholes on NY's bad roads and terrible highways. I've read many reviews but not many people write anything about the ground clearance, is it because it's really not a problem at all?

I don't live in NYC, but my driveway has a very steep ramp that scrapes my dad's Infiniti G35. I've never had a problem with my xB even when I go up and down it fast.

I've driven my Box in Manhattan many, many times with no clearance problems at all. DaveK
