2004 Mitsubishi diamante burning gas. Putting in fuel every 3 days but rarely drive

I dont think its possible if car just stand outside not working and fuel is burning)) If you come up to a car anytime or next day and smell fuel outside of your car and inside then your fuel line is rust out and broke under your car somewhere just call up closest mechanic drive there slowly cause fuel line in under pressure if not to far or make him come over something like that)
