Dynamic Stability Control. It's basically what helps the tires adjust their rotation when you "spin out"

DSC= Dynamic Stability Control Thanks to this you can take a turn and not spin out.(or less lightly) It basically electronically manages your throttle so that you don't give too much causing you to loose control. It's like having a professional driver pressing the gas for you. High Torque - DSC + Full Throttle Before Apex = DISASTER If you have a M3 and not much performance driving experience(ie.track experience) please keep it on!

You can also turn off the traction control part of it and still maintain the stability/anti skid feature by holding down the DSC button until the light flashes then goes out. BMW will not tell you about this feature..........
