Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am going to look at a '99 Outback with 188k miles.  2 owners.  They're
asking $2600.  Claim it's been well cared for but didn't know if head gasket
has been done.  What else should I try to find out about it?  Is it worth it?

Can you afford to lose your money tomorrow? I recommend a newer and lower mile car. If you proceed offer a lot less!
