engine replacement

Asked by GuruVSM54 Aug 24, 2018 at 12:28 PM about the Subaru Forester

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have just returned from my local Subaru service department and they have
given me a loaner. I was told my 2014 needs a new engine. This would be the
second new engine in less than 2 years---obviously something is wrong---is
there any recourse that i might have?

My 2015 is on its third engine. Lots of hassle! I pressed SOA and got a settlement which helped a little. You should also ask for an extended warranty at their cost.
