Swapping motors

Question type: Car Customization

Is it possible to swap a 1995 Subaru Forester motor with a
ej20 turbo charged motor, if so what years would fit?

All sorts of things are possible with enough time and money. Swapping in a turbo motor is not just bolting it in. There are the electronic controls and all the turbo plumbing.

Thank you for the encouraging words, I really want to swap to a EJ20 turbocharged, it's my first subaru and i read the Ej20 is best if you have a need for speed.

If you have deep pockets and an appetite for problems then go for it. You will be much better off buying a turbo car to start with.

Buy a turbo Forester donor car for parts or better yet swap your radiator cap onto a turbo Forester and call it a day.
