Why does car stay running when key is off?

Car stays running when key is off. We have changed the ignition lock
cylinder and problem still exists.

There is clearly a short in the system that is causing the car to stay running and it not the switch, you need to look deeper in the wiring to find the short, please hit helpful if you found this information useful, thanks...
