Taurus key fob

Have a 2002 Taurus with one working fob. Programmed a fob from my old 2000 Sable and it works fine. However original one stopped working. Can program either one to work but other one always stops. Cannot get both to work at same time. Any reason for this?

My lights dont indicate or come on when i use the key fob for 2001 ford tauras
