Do the cluster lights normally stay on for a few seconds after key is removed. Headlights usually stay on also. What year F 150 do you have.
Only the white cluster lights stay on once the key is removed and the doors are locked everything else is turned off except for those lights. I took it into the Ford dealership today and they believe that is the shift assembly $650 later and $150 battery on top of that I hope that is the solution.
