How do I know if my 2003 Mercury Mountaineer is AWD or FWD.

How do I know if my 2003 Mercury Mountaineer is AWD or FWD. I find nothing in the truck that says so

As FOR said, only RWD and AWD (similar to 4WD) were made. Look under the car and see if there is a diff on the front axle. If there is, its an AWD.
