need help setting the timing in my 1994 ford escourt

I had to change my oil pump and all was good until i tryed to start it and now it will not
start i tryed to reset the timing and that did not work and i did it againg and i got a quick
back fire and still will not start can some one please help me it my only car and i realy
need it to get around  thank u for any help

I have a 1.9 liter and no the oil pump went on it and i changed it
