have 88 bronco ll starts and runs fine but at times it cranks but dont start, i will let it sit for a day or so and it will start up like if nothing was wrong. have any suggestions

went to work truck ran fine but when leaving it wouldnt start. i left it there and the next day
when i got off i turned the key and it started fine
