Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The check engine light came on and when I pulled the codes on the truck it indicates that the EGR Valve needs repaired.  How do you repair the EGR valve?

You can remove and clean it. But I always replace them just to be sure it is in proper working order.

Not sure about yours but most of the time it's just a couple of bolts. Usually pretty simple.

Tacoma EGR----every other creature 'cept this one on u-tube, there was an Indian guy expaining the EGR, it made me laugh....guess you'd have to had a lifetime of exposure to these panupabatada types to get all lit up.~
