going to blame Frame/chassis grounding, where the coil lives~ spark can be interrupted by a loose engine mount for example, somehow the spark isn't firing properly,~ would check the life/status of the battery, theses tin/antimony alloy can stop taking a charge shy of 10 years~ think this is mechanical pr0blem, for some reason the coil is shorting out, let us find out why~!
Must be a 4.7 engine, change out the cam and crank sensors, and use Chrysler parts, aftermarket’s don’t do well as replacements. I found that out the hard way on my GC.

Could be an electrical nightmare , It's old so trade it in get something better , I wouldn't spend any money on it , I wouldn't have bought a jeep in the first place
If an engine runs fine, but stalls out often, the most common problem is likely a bad alternator if the engine fails to restart, or a bad ignition switch if the engine starts up properly. Simple diagnostics can find out exactly what's wrong.
Not when it changes things like ACT to Awkland(spelled wrong)and other outlandish spellings.
