can oil pan be removed without rasing moter

you are probably going to have to be able to get in there, even with extended extension bars and swivel sockets, you will have problem physically maneuvering the oil pan just to get it out without some floorjack and disassemble mount action~

I have a 93 pickup truck with the 22RE engine (American Made) and tough as nails...strange how the oil pump is integral to the timing case, so if that is what you are after look no further~

I have found the easiest way is to remove the lower cross member and the oil pan will drop right out ! I own a 90' 2wd pickup.
