Thinking of Buying...Need Opinion

Asked by Matdy Mar 03, 2008 at 12:17 PM about the Toyota Pickup

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm really interested in buy an early to mid '90s toyota pickup, most of them that I can find have 140,000 to 180,000 miles on them.  From reading reviews on here and elsewhere on the web I understand they are very reliable, though the high mileage still makes me wary.

So my question for those of you that have owned one, would you go back and trust a used one at 140,000-180,000 miles?

http://www.carsurvey.org/ use this site to research the truck you are thinking of, these truck are known for rust. It also depends on how it was used, as From my experance with this truck is that it has ok power but if you try and "work" it, there just isn't enough power. It also boils down to what you like/need and want. also what you are willing to pay. Best of luck in your search.
