I need the size of the front crankshaft bolt on a 2004 Ford Ranger(J97T) vin
number is AFAFXXMJ2F6M05594

"Not a valid VIN." (Are you outside the USA?) It would be easier for us if you posted the engine size. If I recall correctly, for a 2.3L, it will be M14x1.25, 21mm. 3.0L is the same. Not sure about the 4.0L. Any parts shop can tell you the exact specs. You can also find crank/harmonic balancer bolts in any salvage yard, there are tons of 2.3/3.0L motors there.
