Type 2 CD stereo system

Asked by fossiljen Mar 19, 2021 at 10:11 PM about the Toyota Corolla

Question type: General

I just bought a used 1998 Toyota Corolla that has a type 2 CD
stereo system and I can't find where to put any CDs in it.
There is a spot for a cassette, but I can't find the player that is
supposed to hold 2 CDs. Looked all over the dashboard, in
the glove box, under the seats, on the rear deck and in the
trunk and can't find anywhere to actually insert and play a CD.
Does anybody know where it is located or how to operate it?

1 Answer

See if the slot below the tape slot will open. With power to the unit push the CD buttons and see what happens.
