Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 Chevy 1500. I was told when i bought it that it has a ground out
that causes fuel to dump into the throttle body just when the battery is
connected. How do I fix this/find the short.

Yes, by all means, believe what a seller tells you..... It might be as simple as a stuck fuel pump relay or a defect in wiring. If not the relay, break out that multi-meter and go hunting. A good repair manual should help, especially as this truck predates OBDII.

I would check things out for yourself and see what problems there are , Tap on the injector spray with cleaner or replace them , Look for any wiring modifications , It's a good model truck you'll just have to figure it out .

The injectors are stuck in full pulse width, this is usually a bad computer especially in GM products, but if the injectors wiring is grounded on the negative or what is called the computer driver side it will do the same thing.
