The blower on a roadmaster is just behind the glove box..get underneath and remove the access panel under the dash and the blower is right there! From there you can unplug it and test it to see if the motor itself is shot. That is how the one in my 96 died off and on for a couple of days and then .....DEAD! Very easy to replace on your own would take about 45 min to an hour.

I found replacing it to be very easy but it looked like a single transistor mounted on a heat sink. after it would only blow floor auto and no switches worked. took catt out and up to speed and controls cam back but still no blower. swapped that out and still no joy.
